This quirky attraction is just about 45 minutes from the Las Vegas strip and its a popular, but desolate, tourist destination that attracts many photographers, adventurers, and music video directors. If you are planning a trip to the Hoover Dam, it is not a bad idea to add this to your itinerary.

Being stationed at Aviano Air Base, Italy placed me in a position that made traveling very accessible. About two-hour drive north, you can make it to Austria, two hours east, easily puts you in Slovenia or Croatia. Two-hour drive in other directions puts you into some beautiful places within Italy. What about those weekends when you are off-duty and you want to keep it somewhat local? Well, I might have a spot for you.

Sequoia National Park is named after on the largest tree species on the planet and it is home to the United States highest peaks. Neighboring Kings Canyon lays just to the north, Plunging 2000 feet deeper into the Earth than Arizona's Grand Canyon.
Yet, despite their differences the two parks have much in common. Their valleys have been shaped by the same snow-fed cascades of the Central Sierra Nevada. While from their soils rise giant sequoias some of which first put down roots 3,000 years ago, long before the rise of the Roman Empire.

Houston is one of the biggest growing cities in the United States and it is alive with full energy and a richness in diversity. The city's dynamic mix of imagination, talent and first-class attractions has made it a world-class city. It is home to a vibrant economy, beautiful surroundings and an optimistic population with a spirit of pride, it's no wonder that Houston has become a popular international destination.
There is a lot of things to see in this city. On my last visit one attraction really stood out and I want to share with you, Color Factory. It will surely brighten your day and its a great place for families too.
